The E-Val™ Pro wired thermocouple system is immensely easy to handle within controlled environments due to its compact size and light weight. The thermocouple system complies with FDA regulations as well and GAMP guidelines and is designed to be the ideal solution for any thermal validation process.

The secure and password protected module can handle up to 40 thermocouples and the large internal memory is capable of holding up to 10 studies at a time. The wired thermocouple system has a built-in 8-hour battery and can be used as a stand-alone unit or be connected to a PC via LAN/USB.

The E-Val Pro is equipped with interchangeable sensor arrays, which can easily be removed for service and calibration. With 4 and 12-channel arrays available, the E-Val Pro can handle all thermocouple types as well as analog and digital inputs.

Thermocouple system with graphical display
Due to its 8’’ display and user-friendly interface with touch function, the thermocouple system is very intuitive and easy to operate. The thermocouples are equipped with USB connectors, resulting in a safe, fast and easy plug-and-play setup. The graphical display increases efficiency as the measured results are easy to read and analyze on the spot. The easy expandability with various parameter and sensor options, makes the E-Val Pro thermocouple system a complete validation solution for any facility with a wide variety of applications.

High accuracy thermocouples with cold junction compensation
All Ellab type T thermocouples have a built-in cold junction compensation in the USB connector. A Pt1000 element in each individual thermocouple, ensures a high accuracy leading to a more stable and accurate validation process.

Validation Software with numerous reporting options
The thermocouple system also utilizes the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant ValSuite™ Pro validation software, which keeps a complete database of all aspects of your validation requirements – tracking thermocouples, calibration reports, test setup, data analysis, specific user access and final compliance reports. The software even allows validators to combine wireless data loggers and thermocouples in the same study.

Ellab’s unique Thermocouple Sensor (TC Sensor) now allows users worldwide to use thermocouples in conjunction with wireless data loggers. The TC Sensor is especially designed for applications that cause a lot of strain on sensors and require as little impact on samples as possible. A good example of said applications would be Lyophilization, also known as Freeze Drying.

Replace Thermocouple Sensors with Ease
The feature that makes this sensor highly unique, is the ability to have the thermocouple wire replaced via a screw terminal after a prolonged series of use. Typically, if wires get strained through rough handling or immensely demanding applications, the entire sensor head would have to be replaced – now with the TC sensor, bundles of thermocouple wires can easily be acquired through Ellab and replace the single damaged wire, resulting in a far more cost-efficient process.

The thin thermocouple wire is equipped with a “naked tip” that takes up next to no room within a sample and provides users with a faster response time. The sensor itself has a temperature range of -50 to +62°C (calibrated from -60 to +60°C) with a state of the art accuracy of ±0.3°C. In addition to this, the wire comes in 10, 30, 50 and 100 cm lengths (30 cm standard), offering an additional layer of versatility.

The TOCSIN 102 Thermal Conductivity Gas Detector consist of two matched elements which are used for the detection of gases in 0-100% volume concentrations. The elements operate on the thermal conductivity principle.

The sensing element is open to the atmosphere under test and the reference element is supplied sealed in reference air. The response of the devices is dependent upon the difference between the thermal conductivity of the atmosphere under test and the reference air. When the atmosphere under test has a thermal conductivity higher than the reference air, the sensing element loses more heat to the surroundings than the reference element.

This increased heat loss causes a cooling of the sensing element and subsequent reduction in the resistance of the sensing element compared to the reference element. The thermal conductivity of a gas mixture is dependent on temperature and the individual thermal conductivity of the constituents of the mixture. The temperature of importance is the operating temperature of the sensing element (typically a maximum pf 500 Deg C at the recommended bridge supply voltage). The detector is supplied pre-calibrated for the target gas in question.

Typically this measurement technique is used to monitor binary gas mixtures e.g Helium in Nitrogen. The unit can be operated in either analogue or addressable modes and can be simply calibrated using a multi-meter and known gas concentration

Siting of the detector should also be carefully considered to take into account air flows, site geometry and the characteristics of the target gas.

TOC-30 Series Safe Area Gas Detector’s from IGD are available as both legacy Analogue 4-20mA gas detectors or modern addressable versions. This series of Safe Area Gas Detector’s are manufactured in rugged ABS housings which provide a number of advantages. Sealing is moulded in as part of the housing with detector and electronics in separated compartments. The detector is protected by a unique labyrinth arrangement which provides both dust and splash protection.

Why Choose ABS Housings?

ABS is tough and does not corrode providing a high degree of chemical resistance. The detectors and electronics used in the TOC-30 series fixed gas detection are identical to those used in our Tocsin 102 ATEX detectors. The only difference is the housing material, if you don’t need a zoned area ATEX detector then we don’t expect you to pay for one. Safe Area Gas Detector’s cover applications that are not zoned ATEX areas. What we do ensure is that the detection quality is identical, they are after all doing the same job. The housing is designed to wall mount with conduit knock outs pre-moulded. Alternately TOC-30 series detector’s housing can mounted to Dado trunking or be flush wall mounted as they are a standard 2-gang mount.

Tocsin 103 Industrial Gas Detector are designed for cost effective safe area gas detection solutions. They incorporate micro processor technology to give a stable 4-20mA process signal output. The addressable option allows extensive reductions in cost of installation through material and labour savings. The in built processor can be used to pre-calibrate the sensors prior to installation. Alternatively calibration can be achieved on site via the Oliver IGD control panel or locally using a handheld PC device or laptop. A range of sensing technologies can be incorporated into the housing to provide the most appropriate detection method. EE310 is optimized for reliable measurement in demanding industrial applications. In addition to highly accurate measurement of relative humidity and temperature, the transmitter also calculates parameters such as dew point, absolute humidity and mixing ratio.

Various models are available including wall, duct and remote probe. The remote probe can be used up to 180 °C (356 °F) and the pressure tightprobe up to 20 bar (290 psi). The design of the enclosure allows easy mounting and maintenance of the unit. EE310 is available with IP65 polycarbonate or stainless steel enclosure. Measured values are available on two analog outputs and on the optional digital interface RS485 with Modbus RTU or Ethernet with Modbus TCP.

The state of the art TFT colour display shows up to four measurands simultaneously and offers extensive error diagnostics. Humidity and temperature transmitter for intrinsically safe applications

The EE300Ex humidity and temperature transmitter is dedicated for measurement in explosion hazard areas. It complies with the classifications for Europe (ATEX), International (IECEx) and USA / Canada (FM) and can be employed in gas and dust explosion hazard areas. The intrinsically safe EE300Ex can be installed in the explosion hazard area even in zones 0 / 20 (Divison 1).

The 2-part enclosure facilitates easy installation and dismounting for calibration without time-consuming wiring. The robust and easy-to-clean stainless steel housing is optimized for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The well proven E+E humidity sensor technology grants reliable, long-term stable measurements in challenging applications.

Besides measurement of relative humidity and temperature, the EE300Ex calculates all humidity related parameters, such as dew-point temperature [Td], wet-bulb temperature [Tw], absolute humidity [dv], etc. The intrinsically safe humidity and temperature transmitter features two 4-20 mA outputs in 2-wire technology.

Moisture in oil measurement

In the same way as humidity measurement in air, the EE300Ex is appropriate for moisture in oil measurement. The moisture content of oil can be issued absolute as water content in [ppm] or relative as water activity [aw]. Typical applications for moisture in oil measurement are found in systems for cleaning/drying oil or on oil platforms for online monitoring of lubrication and gear oils.

Humidity and Temperature Transmitter with Interchangeable Probes

The EE220 humidity and temperature transmitter with pluggable, interchangeable probes is optimised for clean room, food and pharamaceutical industry.

The EE220 basis unit can accommodate one combined EE07 RH and T probe or two separate EE07 probes, one for RH and one for T. The probes can be plugged onto the basis unit either directly, or with M12 extension cables up to 10m (32.8ft) long. A loop calibration or adjustment in the field, as required by the FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) regulated industries is easily possible for the EE220 with two separate probes.

The EE220 basis unit is available with polycarbonate or with metal enclosure, appropriate for suitable for wall mount or for installation on rails (DIN EN 50022). An optional kit facilitates the mounting of the probe in a duct.

For surface moisture monitoring or for the early detection of condensation danger, EE220 can accommodate the EE03 RH & T module (see data sheet EE03).

The EE211 is dedicated for accurate and long term stable measurement under continuous high humidity (>85 % RH) and condensing conditions in demanding climate control.

It features a heated humidity probe and an interchangeable temperature probe. Excellent performance of EE211 even in polluted, aggressive environment is ensured by the combination of completely encapsulated measurement electronics inside the humidity probe and the long-term stable HCT01 sensor with E+E proprietary coating.

The EE211 enclosure is rated IP65/NEMA 4, minimizes installation costs and provides outstanding protection against pollution and condensation. All measured and calculated values are available on the Modbus RTU interface whereas two of the values are available on the analogue voltage or current (3-wire) output. Additionally up to three values can be shown simultaneously on the optional illuminated display.

With the optional product configuration adapter EE-PCA the user can set the Modbus RTU interface parameters, the display format, the measured parameters and the output scaling. Furthermore, the user can perform an one or two point humidity and temperature adjustment. The data stored in SD memory card can be regenerated on the screen, and with the use of support software supplied the data can also be regenerated on a PC screen. The Hygrometer TK-100 YN Model is a battery powered portable instrument.

Portability
YN Model is small, by 160 x 160 x 88 mm, and has lightweight, at 2 kg. It is developed based on the customers’ voice;
“easily bring it on the business trip by train or by air”.

Power
YN Model contains re-chargeable Lithium battery inside of the instrument. The battery make the instrument work for 24 hours,
by only 3 hours charge time. You can use it continuously over 24 hours, by the operation with battery charger connecting.
Battery status can be easily monitored by 3-status display for AC Power Supply, Charge and Discharge exist in the front panel.

Easy to Use
One of the most important features for such instruments is how easily users start operation.
YN Model needs only 3 steps for measurement, those are; Charge the battery, connect the line and press start button.
